MySelf

Good Day everyone. Happy and Thank you for seeing my blog. I'm E Bao Yen 226513. You can call me Edwin. My hometown is Negeri Sembilan, which a district from Malaysia. I love it very much.

Currently, I'm studied at University Utara Malaysia, UUM, Kedah Malaysia. I am taking the Bachelor Degree of Marketing. I am also the last semester student and will enter the big world soon. Hope everything goes fine with me.

Thank you for my lecture who Pn Noor Izzah Bte Yahya gives us an opportunity to learn doing blogspot. So, I would like to share some knowledge of environment issues here.

Hope you like it.

What should we do to help Earth

Have you ever imagined an environment that is not green, full of waste, and unclean?

Preserving and protecting our environment is one of the main goals of the government of every country in the world. A country when we can see an environment that is green, waste less and clean is surely a successful country.

To have this, these are the ways:

  1. Recycle as many things as you can. Recycling things is the best way to lessen and avoid global warming and climate change.
  2. Avoid burning garbage to lessen global warming. Learn to sell and recycle things to be practical nowadays.
  3. Refrain from using air conditioner. Instead use electric fans than aircon. Aircondition has chlorofluorocarbon.
  4. Plant vegetable on your own backyard. This will help you to prevent using cars to go to the market. This will also help in lessening air pollution.
  5. Don't throw trashes everywhere. This will help in lessening pollutions in air, water, and land.
  6. Use hair gels than hairsprays or aerosols. Hair sprays or aerosols have CFC or chlorofluorocarbons.
  7. Plant trees. These also help in lessening the air pollutions. This gives us oxygen that we breathe.
  8. Turn off unused electric appliances. These will lessen the energy conserve and avoid global warming.
  9. Avoid using Liquefied Petroleum Gas. Instead use LPG has more chlorofluorocarbon than using charcoal. Charcoal is also much cheaper than LPG.
  10. Avoid using cars if it is just a short distance trip. It is a bad cause of the global warming and climate change.
  11. Avoid throwing chemicals in different places. This can cause pollutions like air pollutions, water pollutions and land pollution.

If these were obeyed and observed in each of us. This worst problem will become not that worst at all. These climate change and global warming will be lessened and will not affect us not that worst. Even Millennium Development Goals would be promoted and be achieved. On your own work and deeds ........... Can you do these?

I am a college student who do my Bachelor Degree in Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah, Malaysia. This year is my 3rd year of study and also my last year in this place.

I found that the weather here is changing quickly and uncertain. It was totally different from my first year here. This is because the pollution caused the uncertainty of weather. Sometimes, it is very hot and sometimes it is freezing.

So, i decided to share my opinion and ideas here. The Earth is in danger!!! Our human personal behavior and selfishness has make the Earth pollution. We has endanger our own planet.

We must protect it now. Hope my information will help to create awareness in you. Let Start NOW!!

Pass long but still meaningful

Just now, I had tea with friends. We talk everything. Sudden, we came to a topic about the environmental issues. We all felt disappointing and sorry to our Earth. My friend, Boon suggested me to hear long pass song. That is Earth Song from Michael Jackson.
So, I share here my feelings and recommended for you. Hope you get something. :)

"Earth Song" is the third single from Michael Jackson's album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. It is the fifth song on the second disc of the album.
"Earth Song" was accompanied by a lavish music video shot in four geographical regions. It centered on the destruction and rebirth of Earth and went on to receive a Grammy nomination in 1997. The song was a top five hit in most European countries. It remains Jackson's best-selling single in the United Kingdom, and was the country's number-one Christmas single in 1995. "Earth Song" was not released as a single in the United States. Jackson went on to receive recognition from various animal and environmental organizations.

Lyric

"Earth Song"

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh

What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh

I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
Although I know we've drifted far

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh

Hey, what about yesterday
(What about us)
What about the seas
(What about us)
The heavens are falling down
(What about us)
I can't even breathe
(What about us)
What about apathy
(What about us)
I need you
(What about us)
What about nature's worth
(Ooo, ooo)
It's our planet's womb
(What about us)
What about animals
(What about it)
We've turned kingdoms to dust
(What about us)
What about elephants
(What about us)
Have we lost their trust
(What about us)
What about crying whales
(What about us)
We're ravaging the seas
(What about us)
What about forest trails
(Ooo, ooo)
Burnt despite our pleas
(What about us)
What about the holy land
(What about it)
Torn apart by creed
(What about us)
What about the common man
(What about us)
Can't we set him free
(What about us)
What about children dying
(What about us)
Can't you hear them cry
(What about us)
Where did we go wrong
(Ooo, ooo)
Someone tell me why
(What about us)
What about babies
(What about it)
What about the days
(What about us)
What about all their joy
(What about us)
What about the man
(What about us)
What about the crying man
(What about us)
What about Abraham
(What about us)
What about death again
(Ooo, ooo)
Do we give a damn

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh

Endangered Species 2016

The most endangered species

Lately, I heard WWF announced that Sumatran rhino has extinct in the wild in Malaysia. Sumatran Rhino is the smallest speceis of rhinos. It also known as hairy rhinoceros or Asian two-horned rhinoceros.

I was very shocked and sad. This is because I had a chance to view Sumatran Rhino at Zoo Negara, Malaysia once. So, I decided to create more awareness and information about the endangered species in Earth.

1. Amur Leopard

The Amur leopard is solitary. Nimble-footed and strong, it carries and hides unfinished kills so that they are not taken by other predators. It has been reported that some males stay with females after mating, and may even help with rearing the young. Several males sometimes follow and fight over a female. They live for 10-15 years, and in captivity up to 20 years. The Amur leopard is also known as the Far East leopard, the Manchurian leopard or the Korean leopard

2. Sumatran Rhino

Sumatran rhinos are the smallest of the living rhinoceroses and the only Asian rhino with two horns. They are covered with long hair and are more closely related to the extinct woolly rhinos than any of the other rhino species alive today. Calves are born with a dense covering that turns reddish brown in young adults and becomes sparse, bristly and almost black in older animals. Sumatran rhinos compete with the Javan rhino for the unenviable title of most threatened rhino species. While surviving in greater numbers than the Javan rhino, Sumatran rhinos are more threatened by poaching. There is no indication that the population is stable and just two captive females have reproduced in the last 15 years.
3.     Mountain Gorilla

The world’s smallest population of mountain gorillas—a subspecies of the eastern gorilla—is split in two and scientists have debated whether they may be two separate subspecies. A bit more than half live in the Virunga Mountains, a range of extinct volcanoes that border the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda. The remainder can be found in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Since the discovery of the mountain gorilla subspecies in 1902, its population has endured years of war, hunting, habitat destruction and disease—threats so severe that it was once thought the species might be extinct by the end of the twentieth century.

4. Hawksbill turtle
Hawksbills are named for their narrow, pointed beak. They also have a distinctive pattern of overlapping scales on their shells that form a serrated-look on the edges. These colored and patterned shells make them highly-valuable and commonly sold as "tortoiseshell" in markets.

5. South China Tiger

The South China tiger population was estimated to number 4,000 individuals in the early 1950s. In the next few decades, thousands were killed as the subspecies was hunted as a pest. The Chinese government banned hunting in 1979. By 1996 the population was estimated to be just 30-80 individuals. Today the South China tiger is considered by scientists to be “functionally extinct,” as it has not been sighted in the wild for more than 25 years.

Image OF Deforestation

HERE is Few Image of Deforestation I would like to show Today.

Please awake NOW!!!

Sorry to Future Generations.Sorry

Today, I saw a video from Youtube and would like to share here. It was performed by Prince Ea - a famous Youtuber and American Rapper. He posted a video titled "Dear Future Generations" and stunned and waked me up from being non-care person to something. Hope you like it.

Dear Future Generations,
I think I speak for the rest of us when I say,
sorry, sorry we left you our mess of a planet.
Sorry that we were too caught up in our own doings to do something.
Sorry we listened to people who made excuses,
to do nothing.
I hope you forgive us,
we just didn't realize how special the earth was,
like a marriage going wrong,
we didn't know what we had until it was gone.

For example,
I'm guessing you probably know what is the Amazon Desert, right?
Well believe it or not,
it was once called once called the Amazon Rain Forest,
and there were billions of trees there,
and all of them gorgeous and just um..
Oh, you don't know much about trees, do you?
Well let me tell you that trees are amazing,
and I mean, we literally breath the air
they are creating, and they clean up our pollution,
our carbon, store and purify water,
give us medicine that cures ours diseases, food that feeds us.
Which is why I am so sorry, to tell you that,
we burned them down.
Cut them down with brutal machines, horrific,
at a rate of 40 football fields every minute,
that's 50% of all the trees in the world all gone
in the last 100 years.
Why? For this.

And that wouldn't make me so sad,
if there weren't so many pictures of leaves on it.
You know when I was a child,
I read how the Native Americans had such consideration,
for the planet that they felt responsible,
for how they left the land for the next 7 generations.
Which brings me great sorrow, because most of us today,
don't even care about tomorrow.
So I'm sorry, I'm sorry that we put profit over people,
greed over need, the rule of gold above the golden rule.
I'm sorry we used nature as a credit card with no spending limit.
Over drafting animals to extinction,
stealing your chance to ever see their uniqueness,
or become friends with them.
Sorry we poison the ocean so much that you can't even swim in them.
But most of all, i'm sorry about our mindset,
cause we had the nerve to call this destruction,
"Progress".

Hey Fox News, if you don't think climate change is a threat.
I dare you to interview the thousands of homeless people in Bangladesh,
see while you was in your penthouse nestled,
their homes were literally washed away
beneath their feet due to the rising sea levels,
and Sara Palin, you said that you love the smell of fossil fuels,
well I urge you to talk to the kids of Beijing
who are forced to wear pollution masks just to go to school.
You see you can ignore this, but the thing about truth is,
it can be denied, not avoided.
so I'm sorry future generation,
I'm sorry that our footprints became a sinkhole and not a garden.
I'm sorry that we paid so much attention to ISIS,
and very little how fast the ice is melting in the arctic.
I'm sorry we doomed you
and I'm sorry we didn't find another planet in time to move to.
I am s...

You know what, cut the beat, I'm not sorry.
This future I do not accept it,
because an error does not become a mistake,
until you refuse to correct it.
We can redirect this, how?
Let me suggest that if a farmer sees a tree that is unhealthy,
they don't look at the branches to diagnosis it,
they look at the root, so like that farmer,
we must look at the root,
and not to the branches of the government,
not to the politicians run by corporations.
We are the root, we are the foundation, this generation,
it is up to us to take care of this planet.
It is our only home, we must globally warm our hearts
and change the climate of our souls
and realize that we are not apart from nature,
we are a part of nature.
And to betray nature is to betray us,
to save nature, is to save us.
Because whatever you're fighting for:
Racism, Poverty, Feminism, Gay Rights,
or any type of Equality.
It won't matter in the least,
because if we don't all work together to save the environment,
we will be equally extinct.

Sorry.
